Refund Policy

At e-Konnect, customer satisfaction is our priority. This policy sets out the conditions under which a refund may be granted for our services. It applies without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by law.

Right of Withdrawal and Express Waiver (Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code)

Under the French Consumer Code, any individual customer (consumer) is in principle entitled to a statutory 14-calendar-day withdrawal period from the date of contract conclusion, without giving reasons.

However, pursuant to Article L. 221-28, 1° of the French Consumer Code, this right can no longer be exercised when the service has been fully performed before the end of the 14-day period, provided that performance began with your prior and express consent and that you expressly acknowledged losing your right of withdrawal once the service was fully performed.

To this end, at the time of placing your order, you must tick a dedicated box confirming:

☐ I expressly request the immediate activation of my service before the expiry of the 14-day statutory withdrawal period and I acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.

In the absence of this box being ticked, the 14-day withdrawal period remains fully applicable. If you exercise your right of withdrawal after the service has begun but before it has been fully performed, you will only be charged for the portion of the service actually provided up to the date of your request (pro-rata calculation).

This statutory right applies independently of the commercial guarantee described below.

7-Day "Satisfaction or Money-Back" Commercial Guarantee (New Customers)

In addition to the statutory right, we offer a 7-day commercial guarantee for any first order of a VPS hosting service. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase.

Exclusions:

• No refund will be granted for domain name registrations, SSL certificates, licences, or third-party services.
• This commercial guarantee is valid once per customer or per account.
• In cases of platform abuse (spam, illegal content hosting, etc.), the benefit of this guarantee is forfeited.

Non-Refundable Items

Outside the exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal, no refund is possible for:

• renewals of existing services;
• services suspended or terminated for non-compliance with our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

Payments made by cryptocurrency or any other non-reversible method are not eligible for a refund under the commercial guarantee; in the event of a statutory withdrawal giving rise to a refund entitlement, the refund will be made by another equivalent method.

Partial Refunds

Outside the statutory right of withdrawal, e-Konnect does not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a monthly, quarterly, or annual subscription after the guarantee period has expired.

Cancellation

You may cancel your services at any time from your client area. However, no refund will be made for a cancellation occurring after the 7-day guarantee period (unless the statutory right of withdrawal applies).

Please include your invoice number and the reason for your request. We generally respond within 24 to 48 hours.

Disputes and Chargebacks

Opening a bank dispute or initiating a chargeback without first contacting us constitutes a violation of this policy. We reserve the right to suspend or close any account associated with an unjustified chargeback.

Policy Changes

e-Konnect reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes are published on this page and take effect on their publication date.
